Who we are
T-Socks is a private-label sock manufacturer based in Istanbul, Turkey. We are the data controller for this website. If you have any question about how we handle your data, write to info@tsocks.net.
What we collect and why
This site stores three things in your browser's local storage: your chosen language, your cookie choice, and whether you have seen the cookie notice. None of these is used to track you across other sites.
If you submit the quote request form, the details you type in (your name, company, email address, country, service, quantity and message) are sent to and stored in Google Forms / Google Sheets (Google LLC), which we use as our form processing service, so we can reply to you. The submission also includes your selected site language and the page URL you submitted from, so we have context when we respond. Our hosting provider keeps standard server access logs, as most web servers do, for security and troubleshooting.
Analytics cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) to understand how people find and use this site — which pages get read, which buttons get clicked, and where people stop filling in the quote form. This helps us fix the parts that do not work. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and collects your approximate location, device and browser type, the pages you visit, and how you arrived at the site. We have IP anonymisation switched on.
Analytics runs from the moment you arrive unless you turn it off. If you click Reject in the cookie notice, we stop sending data to Google Analytics straight away and it stays off on future visits. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings, which brings the cookie notice back. These analytics cookies are not essential to the site — everything works exactly the same if you reject them.
We never send your name, email address, phone number or anything you type into the quote form to Google Analytics. We record only that a form step or submission happened, never its contents. If you would rather block analytics everywhere, Google publishes a browser opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Third parties
The factory location on our contact page is shown using an embedded Google Maps iframe, which Google may process according to its own privacy terms once the map loads. Our quote form is processed through Google Forms and stored in Google Sheets, so the information you submit is held on Google's systems, and our analytics is provided by Google Analytics as described above. As Google LLC is based in the United States, this involves an international transfer of your data outside Turkey and the EU. Our fonts are self-hosted, so no font-related request is sent to Google or anyone else.
Legal basis
We process this data under Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and, where it applies, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Responding to your quote enquiry is handled on the basis of our legitimate interest in running our business and answering commercial requests. Analytics is handled on the basis of consent, which you can withdraw at any time by rejecting cookies as described above.
How long we keep it
We keep quote enquiries for as long as needed to respond to you and manage that business relationship, then delete them. We do not keep records longer than this without a reason. Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months from your last visit, after which Google deletes it automatically.
Your rights
Under KVKK Article 11 and the GDPR, you can ask us whether we hold data about you, request a copy of it, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to how it is processed. You can also ask for your data to be transferred elsewhere, where that applies. To use any of these rights, contact info@tsocks.net. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Board (KVK Kurumu) or, if you are in the EU, with your local data protection authority.
